Route 22 Honda is great. I dealt with Alex and he was great! He had patience with me. The Big bosses were awesome they explained everything to me even the silliest question they and made me feel comfortable. I was by myself and i was not taken advantage of buying a car. The finance dept manager explained all the warranties and optional products i can purchase that was a little scary because i love to buy things lol. Then they had a young gentleman David he went over all the little gadgets in the car. it was great i can connect my phone to get pandora in the car and i can text as well without picking up my phone no more tickets for me. My experience was EXCELLENT!!!! I will definitely recommend to all family and friends

This review is reflected as a bad one for the Honda Service Department at Honda Route 22. I currently own a Honda CRV 2003 that was purchased at the corresponding dealership. For the past three years, I have visited the Service Department for repairs on my vehicle. However, the problem never seems to get fixed. There have been times when I pay for services on my CRV and before I return to my home I would receive an email requiring that more services be done on my car. I do not understand why the problems were not brought up while my car was being serviced. I feel like it is a ploy to get more money out of me.

Buyer Beware!!! My husband and I made an appointment ahead of time to see a specific car and were left waiting outside (after having told the admin that we were there to see a specific salesman). Oddly, the place was open for business, and the car was right outside, but all the doors were locked. Once one of the salesmen realized that we wanted to test drive the car, suddenly, they "couldn't find the key" to the car, and yet, one would think, someone would say, come on in, let's talk, etc.. No!!! I had to go in there and ask to see our salesman and, sure enough, there he was, sitting on his duff. He acted as if no one had told him we were there. Ok, even if we were to believe that, after that point, he still had a chance to say, "come on, let's talk", "sorry about the key"...whatever. But, instead, he gives us a Jr salesman to "deal" with, the poor guy...he's simply a jr salesman trying to cut his teeth, playing a "shuffle game". We went back and forth twice and then we had had enough. We have been presented with a price that the dealership was willing to sell the car for, but we wanted it for a few hundred less. Eventually, we were told that the price they had originally offered us was not the selling price, we would actually be required to pay more for the car (say, what?!?). Then they tried to say that one of the salesmen might have the key because they have a possible "sale" of the car and are holding it for another customer!?! What??? That is sleazy salesmanship at its best. We knew at that point that they were playing some kind of game, and that we certainly weren't in on it! The whole process was mind-boggling. We walked out. If you think you'll get treated fairly at this place please, think again!!! This place doesn't even deserve 1/2 a star!!!

Scam Alert! No matter how many times we asked clear questions on credit, loan percentage rate, reasons for dealer's arbitrary "doc fee" - we were interrupted, ignored, given the "I'll check" or "You weren't given that? Be right back." We were left to ourselves so often and for so long, they forgot we were in the dealership waiting on them for the requested information. We even got a call asking for feedback on our experience - WHILE we were still waiting for the sales rep at the dealership - they didn't know or care we were still waiting on them. After waiting four hours and after asking multiple times and hunting sales people for answers...they simply would not produce the requested paperwork of how they came to their figures. We asked if they couldn?t do the financing to please just say so right away. No such luck. Their belief was if we put down a deposit, we would then be allowed to view the paperwork. ?!?!? If you call the general sales manager with a complaint or need, such as asking why you were not given the courtesy of the return phone call as promised, he will just hang up on you. No kidding! It seems their nemesis is the informed customer. Buyer beware, this is THE dealership car experts warn against. They do nothing to improve the used car dealer?s reputation for ?If their lips are moving, their lying?. They might be unethical but they are absolutely unprofessional.

I went in looking to trade in a vehicle because of the commercial of $3, 000 no matter the condition of the car. When I get there I am told that they only do that if they really have to so they can push a sale. I was really shocked when I was told this. After the credit check was checked I was told a monthly rate, then another rate then in the finance dept I got another rate. This was so dissapointing especially since I had already accepted the second rate and traded my car for less then $3000. The guy in the finance dept was so negative saying I'm not sure if this willgo through blah blah blah after 4 hours that's the last thing I wanted to hear . In the end I was able to get my car ,but at a higher rate and after 6 hours. Route 22 hondas salesmen should tell the customers that the first monthly rate is an estimate not say that this is the firm rate.

I travel from Brooklyn to have my car serviced at Route22 Honda. I've been with them for the past 14yrs. I think highly of them & to me their family. Terrence has been wonderful & it was sad to hear that Rob is no longer with Honda. He was my buddy! I will miss him. I'm sure Paul, Terrence, Richie, George & the others will continuing to make us customers very happy. This dealership keeps me smiling on how well they interact with their people. first and for-most let me start off by saying that i was shopping for a new car because my old car had gotten totaled in a accident so i was in desperate need of a car. NO-ONE would approve me for a loan because of my horrible credit. when i walked into the dealership it i was in low spirit and was close to giving up, my soon to be salesperson joemy greeted me with a smile and took me to his desk, he promised me he was going to do everything he could to get me a car, and he did just that ! i walked out that day with a 2009 honda accord at a 7% rate which i think is great depsite my credit history. i am truly blessed to have met joemy he got me a car when no dealership in the tri-state area could. i never write reviews but i just had to take the time out to tell about my experience i had. #teamjoemy
